Chemical Warfare (Band)[edit]

Chemical Warfare.(Red deer, AB) Is a Canadian Tech death band from Red Deer, Alberta. The band was formed by Bassist Jackson Rowthorn (Also goes by Jackson Black) on oct 23 of 2010, The band took quite some time to find some musicians to be able to meet Rowthorn's standards. Once a steady line-up was conceived (Kyle Wilsner joined in on drums, Evan McCune On rhythm guitar, Alec Kabel on vocals) they would have there very first Show at the Innisfail Hotel on November 19 2011, Sledgehammer Deathface, Straight goodz and Leave the living also played on this bill.

Recording and line-up changes[edit]

On sept 9 2012 Chemical Warfare(Red deer, AB) hit the studio to record there first couple tracks. Shortly after Recording, Turmoil and headaches plagued the band which forced Kyle Wilsner to leave the band and in turn forced Jackson to pull double duties as vocalist and bassist. Drummer Kyle Kismer would also Part ways shortly after.

Chemical Warfare(Red deer, AB) Have there hand's tied as far as percussion goes and would hire "Studio Drummer's" when the opportunity for a live show would pop up.

Live Shows[edit]

Tony Fabretti joined the band in early 2017 and took part in there second show on June 24 2017, Opening the show for; Widows peak, Bleed, Follow the sorrow, Speaker, Forsaken rite and Decrepitation at the "Vat pub" (red deer's metal dive bar). They would play one more show that year on September 9 at the Beer Haus (Red deer, AB).

On-going Investigation's & Upcoming show in Red deer,AB[edit]

Chemical Warfare(Red deer,AB) Has announced there return to the stage on Dec 16 2023 once again at Red Deer's venue "The Vat".

Several Allegation's have been brought forth against Bassist/vocalist & leader of the group Jackson Rowthorn who has been able to avoid legal prosecution by fleeing to a different jurisdiction. Police are expected to be at the venue on the day of the show, the owner of "THE VAT" (Red deer,ab) has been made aware of these allegations and against better judgement is deciding to let the show go on.

Jackson Rowthorn's Allegation's include; -Voyeurism of adult's, -Voyeurism of Minor's, -Child exploitation, -Financial extortion, -Slander & Defamation of character. The Alberta specialty Provincial unit (Alberta I.C.E-Integrated.-Child.-Exploitation), Calgary & Edmonton rcmp as well as Suburban/rural police have been notified.
