About me: Im a surgeon, having recieved my MD from the university of oslo, norway. Currently working on my PhD.

My interest in Persian history is a result of my heritage, having been born in iran. I'm particularly interested in Safavid history (16th to 18th century), often reffered to as the "Persian Renaissance". In general though, I am fascinated by all architecture and art that is inspired by religion, which ever faith it is, as I think the greatest contribution of religion to us has been the ornamentation of our cities with majestic structures and beautiful art. Thus, I dont mind spending my spare time studying the history of these places and perhaps even providing you with my own knowledge and views through the Wikipedia ;)
