History American Prep International School (American Prep or APIS) was co-founded by Dr. Phakdee Mangmiwatthana (Ph.D.) and Dr. Adelino Libato (Ph.D.) on June 2015.[1] Dr. Phakdee Mangmiwatthana is also the owner of two other schools in Thailand, California Prep Interntational school in Saraburi and Konkaern International School in Konkaern, Thailand.

Curriculum American Prep International School uses the California Department of Education (CDE) curriculum. The written CDE curriculum is delivered with contextual adaptations.
The American Prep International school curriculum is enriched with various student activities such as field trips, retreats, camping, cultural celebrations, etcetera. The curriculum delivery is supported with e-learning in a blended education model. Mastery learning is a foundational concept in the curriculum.[4]
