Travis Irvine is an American writer, director, and actor. Raised in Bexley, Ohio, he is a graduate of Ohio University, and the creator of Overbites Pictures. [1] Irvine was a Bexley Mayoral candidate in 2007 [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], but recieved less than 5% of the vote. [6] [7]

Career[edit]

Irvine is best known for his critically acclaimed film Coons! Night of the Bandits of the Night . [8] [9] [10] [11] [12]

"Coons" began as a senior film project at Ohio University

Was distributed at numerous festivals befire being picked up for distribution by Troma.


His next project, documenting his Mayorial aspirations, is his film American Mayor. Produced by his "overbites Pictures" and shot during his 2007 campaign, the film is currently in post-production and will and will be distributed by Troma Entertainment. [13] [14]
