Collaboration & accomodation[edit]

I am neurodivergent, and sometimes absorb and express information atypically, so please be patient, AGF, and ask me what I mean if in doubt or if I seem to be advocating something strange or contentious. Sometimes it may take a few rounds of back-and-forth to clarify what I mean, so please don't sound-bite me and scurry to the nearest noticeboard. We are Wikipedians, and our edits can be discussed and are not unringable bells.

Especially under wikistress, I may tend to get too granular, or hyperfocused, or wordy, in which case please do let me know -- but please don't assume that such lapses necessarily indicate "bludgeoning" or other such tendentiousness. While I am (at least) as capable of making mistakes as anyone, I'm genuinely trying my best, and am grateful for your understanding.

The Golden Fivefold Path To Making Editing Fun Or At Least Relatively Painless[edit]

  • Omit needless words (including not repeating the same point in multiple comments)
  • Be collegial and stay focused on content
  • Don't edit war. Seek broad input and allow the debate to take its course. Accept eventualism
  • Ignore all drama and resist baiting
  • DGAF: Don't perseverate, do procrastinate; avoid the urge to stay up late
