Mission Statement[edit]

Colegio de la Inmaculada is an educational institution of the Society of Jesus with long teaching experience. They implement a project co-educational, inclusive; people-centered thoughts that serve diversity, to gender equity, to environmental protection, human rights and democratic coexistence. Colegio de la Inmaculada promotes training excellence, marked by the experience of the spiritual exercises and Ignatius discernment. They have the capacity to support and facilitate the development of the students. Their teaching staff is competent, updated, innovative, creative, bilingual and incorporates information technology and communication in their teaching.

Colegio de la Inmacuala develops an efficient educational management, that's responsible and associative, in the commitment to the common good and justice in Peru, share it with other educational institutions and the state, thus contributing to human development and a better quality of life for the majority in the country.

History[edit]

Colegio de la Inmaculada began operations on April 8, 1878, at a location near the old National Library (Av Abancay). In 1966, work began to house on one campus sections of kindergarten, primary and secondary. The transfer involved many changes, but allowed greater interaction between students and their teachers / tutors.

In all these years the slogan of Colegio de la Inmaculada has been training people comprehensive, autonomous in their learning and discernment, to be agents of change to serve others, especially the poor. Since 2010, the College began a process of coeducation that allows for the first time to have boys and girls to be formed with the vision of excellence, inspired by human and Christian values​​. For more than 130 years, the school had been operating as an all-boys catholic school.

Athletics Infrastructure[edit]

Colegio de la Inmaculada has an extensive athletic infrastructure, which allows the development of various disciplines in the students, with the help from various teachers and coaches that promote:

  • 05 basketball courts
  • 12 slabs for futsal
  • 01 athletic track
  • 01 gym
  • Coliseum closed for up to 500 people

Awards[edit]

Throughout its history, Colegio de la Inmaculada has received several awards as the "Medal of the City of Lima", the "Order of the Sun" award, the Palmas Magisterial Business Creativity Award and the Academic Excellence Award in several years.
