I understand factual information and soapboxes, how about a truce? When is an advert not an advert, when it is just an information update.

Let me explain if I were to add two cartoons say to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judge_(magazine one the original image, and then the updated modern version with a text explaining its meaning. No link to the publisher, only freely given to you and your customers. This would be acceptable by adding genuine new content? I trust the is acceptable and would resolve this problemMike Mumford 19:01, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

Push Dem Clouds Away
No, because Judge (magazine) is about the magazine, not about your cartoons. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place to present new ideas. --| Uncle Milty | talk | 19:30, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
