AndreTheGreek Andreas Asimakopoulos was born in Anchorage Alaska on August 21st 1998. There were several health complications that resulted in a medivac to Seattle right after birth, but after surgery and a bit of tube feeding he was back in the small town of Soldotna AK. Andreas has played music all of his life and first started writing music with a guitar at the age of 10. Due to a rather strict household, rap music was frowned upon and limited the amount of hip-hop he consumed. Andreas was introduced to freestyling his Junior year of high school and would rap everyday after school with his friends. Eventually he started writing his own raps and posted them on Soundcloud. The first song was a short 1:12 song recorded over "THat Part (Black Hippy Remix)" instrumental. After graduating from Soldotna High School in May of 2017, he attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. ...
