Laura Hollengreen

Laura Hollengreen is an historian of medieval art and architecture specializing in French Gothic architecture and art of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.[1] She is an Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Architecture at the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture at the University of Arizona.[2] She was formerly an Associate Professor of Architecture and Assistant Provost for Academic Advocacy and Conflict Resolution at Georgia Tech.

Education and academic career[edit]

Dr. Laura Hollengreen earned a bachelor’s of art and archaeology from Princeton University, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in history of art from the University of California at Berkeley.[3] After temporary teaching positions at the University of California, Riverside, and the University of California, Berkley. Dr. Laura Hollengreen joined the faculty of the University of Arizona as assistant professor in the School of Architecture in Fall 2000 and was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 2006. In 2015 she joined the faculty of Georgia Tech as an associate professor in the School of Architecture and the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Faculty, advising the Provost and Vice Provosts on policy initiatives.[4]
