Enfora is a global, wireless networking company headquartered in Richardson, Texas, a Dallas suburb with satellite offices in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Enfora was established in 1999 as a spinoff from Inet Technologies.[1] It is a provider of wireless networking solutions that enable enterprises to access, analyze and leverage information from their geographically dispersed assets.[2] Enfora's solutions, consisting of embedded wireless software, wireless modules, integrated products and enterprise software, are based on their distributed intelligent architecture that provide a link between an enterprise and its remote assets. Enterprises deploy there solutions for location-based, monitoring and control, and asset management applications.

Enfora was recently named to M2M magazines's M2M Top 100 list.[3] Enfora ranks #19 in 5 year growth as compiled by Deloitte Partners With CTIA in their announcing of the Wireless Fast 50 Rankings.[4] Enfora partner Youth Driving Safe's innovative teen-driver tracking system is profiled by Dallas Morning News.[5] Jeff Newman, chief strategy officer for Enfora, was named one of M2M Magazine's 2007 M2M Pioneers.[6] Erco & Gener announced that is has signed an agreement with Enfora for the distribution of intelligent wireless modules in several countries.[7]

- Texas Instruments provides Enfora with wireless silicon and related software. TI is the leading manufacturer of wireless semiconductors, delivering the foundation of today's wireless technology and solutions.[8]

- Enfora is part of Microsoft's Embedded Partner Program, and has access to developments for mobile OS solutions.[9]

- Enfora and RFI have teamed up to streamline the device approval process for Enfora customers. RFI is a supplier of comprehensive environmental, regulatory and compliance services for wireless technologies.[10]

- Enfora has done extensive carrier certifications and network interoperability testing including their products being approved to operate on the Cingular/AT&T network.
