After that he was offered to further his study at the Sultan Idris Teachers College (SITC) now known as the Sultan Idris Education University, Tanjong Malim, Perak. He was well-known for his philosophy of education which was based on a four-element of accountability in the school system in Johor. According to him, student's excellence can be achieved based on four factors of effort-involving teachers, the school environment, the parents and students themselves. Students can succeed well depending on 50% of the teacher's effort to teach. Students can very well succeed if added 20% in school environment improvement efforts including textbook facilities and assistance, food assistance, teaching and learning facilities, etc. Students can be excellent when adding 20% of the added value of parents at home and students can be very excellent only if added by 10% of the student's own effort. In other words, in terms of achievement, no student is supposed to fail in the school system in Malaysia.
