Inkdeath is the last exciting book of the stunning Inkheart trilogy. This book ties together all the lose ends and solves the mysteries of the other books. It is full of twists and turns and is the enthralling story of a girl named Meggie who lives with her dad, Mo and her mom, Resa. The Adderhead whose immortality is bound in a book Mo has ordered his henchmen to plunder the villages. The peasants only defense is a band of outlaws led by the Bluejay--Mo's fictitious double, whose identity he has taken. But the Book of Immortality is unraveling, and the Adderhead again fears the White Women of Death. To bring the Bluejay back to repair the book, the Adderhead kidnaps all the children in the kingdom, dooming them to slavery in his silver mines unless Mo surrenders. Meggie starts feeling like she doesn't want to live in a world written by words anymore but does she have a choice. This book has all the beloved characters of the first two books and more!
