Mailcoms ltd is a family owned British Franking Machine supplier and maintainer. Mailcoms are one of only a handful of royal mail approved suppliers and maintainers of franking machines. They have been supplying and maintaining franking machines since 2005. Along with supplying and maintaining franking machines they also sell supplies for machines from all manufacturers currently operating in the UK.
Mailcoms are currently based in Cannock Staffordshire in the UK but operate on a nationwide scale.
History[edit]
Mailcoms began in 2005 from a converted garage in the family home of Des McManus(Director) in cannock staffordshire and have since grown to become one of the biggest suppliers of franking machines in the UK. The company began when the UK market was being dominated by two main manufacturers Neopost and Pitney Bowes and the Royal Mail had begun trying to offer more choice to customers for service and sales of equipment as well as franking machine supplies. Mailcoms where the first franking machine supplier to no longer use sales people to sell their equipment and supplies.
2008[edit]
During 2008 they had been awarded the accolade of approved Royal Mail™ Independent Maintainers and Inspectors of postal franking machines. They can be found on the royal mails official site under Approved Suppliers Inspectors and Maintainers.
2011[edit]
By February 2011 Mailcoms had grown from a family owned supplier to a company employing 15 employees. They had also recieved the reward of most loved franking machine supplier in the UK and have since kept that record.
2013[edit]
In November 2013 they had received their 3rd award being the winner of cannock chase business awards as voted by the best of.
Mailcoms have grown over the span of 9 years to become a multi million turn over company with over 20 employees.
