I am Muhammad Rahim, a retired Engineer from US department of Defense. I am from Bangladesh. I immigrated to USA in 1977. Presently I live in Davenport, Iowa. I am an author of a book titled, "Khuda Buksh: The pioneer of life Insurance in Bangladesh." It took about seven years of research to complete the book.

A critic on the book commented that it is an encyclopedia of Bangladesh insurance. The critic recommended that I create a page on Khuda Buksh in the Wikipedia. I had no knowledge about Wikipedia and so I spent some time looking into it and trying to get myself familiar with it.

Eastern Federal Union Insurance Company

My first article was Eastern Federal Union Insurance Company. The Main reason for writing this article was to correct the misleading information provided in the EFU Web page. I am glad that the article has been accepted but an important image of the founders was deleted. I am currently investigating the validity of its deletion. After consulting with Wikipedia volunteers I was able to reinstate the image of the founders as "fair use."

Bangladesh Jiban Bima Corporation

My second article was Bangladesh Jiban Bima Corporation. There was very little information on this article. I added additional information with background history so readers may learn more about Bangladesh Jiban Bima Corporation.

Khuda Buksh

My third article is on the biography of Khuda Buksh, the pioneer of life insurance in Bangladesh. His work spanned in three countries, British India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. He is known as "Father of Insurance" in Bangladesh.
