Edmunds St. John is a California wine producer based in Berkeley making various Rhône style blends and varietal wines.
Founded by Steve Edmunds and his wife Cornelia St. John in 1985, the winery was formerly the East Bay Wine Works.[1]
Among the pioneers of California Rhône-style wines, one of the Rhone Rangers.[2][3]
The winery is located Audubon Cellars facility in Berkeley

A reputation for balanced wines.[1] "The single most important thing is making a good decision about when to pick the grapes".[2] Edmunds is known for his early harvests.

Early reviews from Robert Parker were positive, describing Edmunds St. John as perhaps the finest practitioner of Californians working with Rhone grapes, and in 1984, "I love this guy's wines".[5][9]

In addition to his profession as a vintner, Edmunds is an essayist, poet, and songwriter with a CD release titled Lonesome On The Ground.[12]
