The article I chose was the Kenya Colony. The reason this article first stuck out to me is because I work for Starbucks and our Kenya coffee is one of my favorite coffee blend. At first glance this article was a little confusing. I had to reread the first sentence a couple of times to comprehend that the colony and the protectorate of Kenya was part of the British empire. It would have been nice to attach an article that explained why they British had a colony in Africa at the very beginning of the article.

Everything in the article is relevant to the Kenya colony, it is just worded in a confusing way to me. Unless a person has heard of or had previous knowledge of some of these people or parties it is hard to understand and follow exactly what happened with the Kenya colony. Maps and pictures would defiantly help paint a better picture of the colony.

Each citation does work in the article and the sources do help when explaining the background to Kenya. I think the author should have incorporated some of that information into his article with out plagiarizing someone's work. All of the sources are other Wikipedia sites, which indicated that this author is biased to his information. It would be a more credible article if the author attached research articles to support their finding.

The talk page give great additional information that should be added to the article. I can see the history of how the title was formed and how someone thought the history of how the British committed against the Kenyan people. I think it would be very interesting to find out if the British even knew they were living on a "gold mine". Africa is now known for their soil and perfect climate weather for growing coffee bean trees.

This article is rated stub-class and is just in the beginning stage and needs more content. I am not exactly sure how to find out if this articles is part of any WikiProjects but seeing how it is in it beginning stages I am going to assume it is not part of any projects.
