This is a TEMPLATE to be used for creating a biographical article. DO NOT edit this here in my sandbox, but rather copy it to your sandbox.

Go to the "Edit Source" tab and make a copy of all the text (you'll need to scroll). Paste it in your own sandbox under the "Edit source" tab and off you go. I do recommend using the Visual Editor, simply listed as "Edit" as you create and edit your article. Students appear to struggle more with the article the more they work in the source tab.

Here is where we'd talk about the person's general history ( where born, grew up...etc.) if you don't have tons to put in separate categories of Eduction, Career and Biography, then just delete those headings and use this one single heading.

Educational info here.... or, if you don't have much, put it int he Biography category

Career

Either separate here or combined with Biography. Amount of details and info is your guide. What makes more sense and is easier on the reader?

Awards

Describe awards here... Do more than a list. Cite the organizations who give the awards, including a description of why the work was exceptional. Often you can find features stories that go into greater depth about these awards. Be specific. Pulitzer winners fall into two areas -- those who have been named as Pulitzer prize winners and those who were part of a staff entry, and thus unnamed. Generally we look to the winning organization to identify who on the staff was part of that entry. In photography, if the Pulitzer Prizes have published the winning entry, you'll see the person's name credited on one or more of the individual photographs.

Books & Exhibitions

Use book reviews for descriptions, not the info from the book publisher describing it as an outstanding book. Note the publisher since self-published and published is a different bar. Use ISB numbers. Unless the exhibition was exceptional in scope or importance, simply list solo exhibitions at major museums or institutions. ( Same for books, list only where the person is a named author/photographer unless the scope or importance is significant)
