Jimi Adebisi Lawal (JAL) is a British-trained lawyer, public servant and banker with over three decades of international merchant banking experience across three continents - Africa, Europe and North America.

Apart from having held senior management positions in multi-national banks, he is a thorough bred professional, an entrepreneur and employer of labour that has founded several companies, including an investment banking firm, a major real estate development company and an approved educational institution.

Born on September 21st, 1959; An accomplished International Entrepreneur, an experienced Public Servant and a Junior Master rated Chess Player; Married with children.

Served as Economic Adviser to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as Minister of the FCT (2003-2007) under former President Olusegun Obasanjo administration, and also as Special Adviser on Investment Promotion to El-Rufai as the governor of Kaduna State.

Served as member, Campaign Finance Committee, CPC Presidential Campaign Council.
