About Me[edit]

Hello, I'm Ngc1381.

As of 2023, I'm fairly new to editing/contributing on Wikipedia. Like many, I've regularly used the site as the robust encyclopedia that it is meant to be, and I figured that—besides financially—the other effective way to both give back to and pay forward the information you can learn from it would be to create an account and try to be helpful/edit wherever possible. I'm editing from the United States of America.

Per my username, I created my account while going down a "space reading" rabbit hole, and was on the page for the lenticular galaxy NGC 1381, so I thought I'd keep it simple. As much as I'd like to, I don't have any special interest in that particular galaxy; NGC 2787 and NGC 5866 do have some particularly cool images associated with them, though, and unfortunately, I can't change my username.

My Activities on Wikipedia[edit]

  • Making (typically minor) edits to typographical errors I find in the course of casual site use
  • Continually learning about the various policies and guidelines for editing and publishing content on Wikipedia
