User:Nick F., Toaster

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi there![edit]

My name is Nick Fredriksson.[1] I am a toaster.[2]

About me (hobbies, personality quirks, etc.)[edit]

Politics[edit]

I am a complete political junkie.

The Internet[edit]

I read xkcd.

I love the Internet.

Stuff that I have done on Wikipedia[edit]

I like to try and be an active contributor. I also like things to be neat and organised.

One of the things I did to help organise Wikipedia (late May 2016) was make sure that there was a section on each FIFA World Cup page titled 'Results', and only one. I didn't have to change much[3], it only took me a short while[4], and I left notes on the talk pages to explain.

  1. ^ Technically, it's not. Fredriksson is just a pseudonym that I use on the Internet to protect my privacy. I'm smart that way.
  2. ^ This is obviously not true. I like to eat toast, but were I a toaster, how would I be editing Wikipedia? How would I type?
  3. ^ 1954 and 1990 through 2014 were the ones I had to change. 1954 had two results sections, while 1990 to 2014 had separate ones for the group stage and the knockout stage.
  4. ^ However, due to me doing this early on in my Wikipedia career, I wasn't able to do 2006, 2010, and 2014 (semi-protected articles),

    Thanks Kleuske.
