About Me

Hello Wikipedians! Welcome to my user page! I want to introduce myself on Wikipedia and also want to tell about my some personal life to you all! I hope I will not bore you.

About me on Wikipedia

I had done my first edit on Wikipedia on 17 October 2013 with the IP address 122.176.237.191. Here's the reliable source. I joined Wikipedia in December 2013, with my username kunalaggarwal2013. At that time, I had no knowledge about Wikipedia. I only had the knowledge that Wikipedia provides reliable information. The day when I had joined Wikipedia, I had created my first article HowtodoTutorials, which was speedily deleted on the same day. I had joined Wikipedia only to create that article. After creating that article, I never edited Wikipedia, but edited by IP addresses. Than in March 2015, I got interested in Wikipedia and started editing it, by changing my username to Kunalforyou. I then again changed my username to Mr. Smart LION in March 2016 as a result of 1 year anniversary on Wikipedia. I had gained much-much knowledge about Wikipedia sometime in February 2016. I'm much interested in Wikipedia than Facebook, seriously speaking.

What I do on Wikipedia

I am an huge fan of contributing and citing reliable sources on Indian Hindi-related articles for good articles on the English Wikipedia, so that Wikipedia can become a reliable source of information. I also take care that the text which I add on Wikipedia, is not much copied from some other source. I'm interested in creating articles on Indian Hindi television series and Bollywood films on the English Wikipedia. Usually, I create 2-3 articles per week. I also revert vandalism using STiki and Huggle. STiki is my favorite, so I use it more often.

Personal life

Now I want to share about my personal life with you. I was born in Rome, Italy, and spent my childhood there for 4 years. I have also lived in places like Manila (Philippines) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for 3 years in both the countries. Than I came to my hometown in New Delhi (India) in July 2005. At that time, I even didn't know that Wikipedia exists on Internet. I came to know about it sometime in 2009. In May 2015, I passed by Board examinations of class 12. Currently, I'm studying in a college through correspondence course.

I also maintain my blog in which I produce how-to videos/tutorials. Take a time to see my blog also. Here's the link.

How to add hidden editor notes in an article

Have you ever needed to post an important message to all editors about an article, on the article itself, but thought it would stick out like a sore thumb and ruin the article if you did? Are you reverting many edits on an article because editors just aren't seeing the important message or special instructions on the talk page?

The solution is that you can insert hidden text in the article! That way, only the people editing the page will see your message! Here is how to insert a hidden comment:

  1. First, begin the comment by typing <!--
  2. Once you have done that, type what you need the editors to read
  3. Then, end the comment by typing -->

Once you have completed those 3 easy steps, you won't be reverting as many mistakes!

For example, the following hidden comment has been used in the Meaning of life article, in the Popular views section:

<!--Please do not add 42 in this section. It is covered under the section titled "Popular culture treatments". Thank you.-->

Some more examples of pages that have hidden messages include:
