Christopher Porter.

Christopher Porter (Born 1970) is a strong advocate for ocean conservation.[1] After 21 years in the public aquarium industry, he left it. He has dedicated his time to ensuring society focuses on building better oceans, not better aquariums in cities. His work has led him around the world.

In 2010 he formed Free The Pod, a website dedicated to promote alternative livelihoods for dolphin hunters and collectors in the Solomon Islands. Witnessing the effects of globalization on this tiny South Pacific Nation, caused him to become political in his home country, Canada.

He is currently the Leader[2] of the Canadian Action Party and is dedicated to spreading the Pillars of the Party across Canada. His main goal is the formation of Riding Associations across Canada that promote participatory democracy, giving Canadians a voice in day to day governance.
