Justin J. Murphy is an American writer based in Grass Valley, California. He is the author of Lorraine,[1] Whiskey Jelly Blues,[2] and Let Me Tell You How It Isn't.[3]

Justin J. Murphy was born in London, UK and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara where he studied Film and Media Theory. His poetry and short stories have been featured in Epicenter, The Café Review, El Portal,[4] Sixfold,[5] and Rusted Radishes.[6] The Midwest Book Review called Whiskey Jelly Blues "Original, compelling, entertaining, thoughtful and though-provoking..."[7]
