Project Siren, otherwise known as Team Gravity, is a Japanese video game development studio led by game designer and director Keiichiro Toyama. It was formed in 1999 by former members of Silent Hill creator Team Silent.[citation needed] Originally part of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Studio's Product Development Department, the company had developed the games Siren and Forbidden Siren 2, both for the PlayStation 2, and the PlayStation 3 game Siren: Blood Curse. The team was also initially responsible for the Gravity Rush series, which began with PlayStation-exclusive titles such as the PlayStation Vita game Gravity Rush, its PlayStation 4 remaster, and its sequel, Gravity Rush 2. On December 2, 2020, Toyama, Kazunobu Sato, and Junya Okura chose to quit Project Siren to form Bokeh Game Studio,[1] and the company has since been left unnamed, leading the rest of its staff being put under talks for a new name.[citation needed]
