TeleChoice new article content ...TeleChoice is an Australian mobile company was founded in 1995 by Ehab Abdou and Paul Reeves. TeleChoice is a Telstra Wholesale mobile virtual network operator MNVO and a former Optus premium dealer. TeleChoice offers a wide range of mobile plans using parts of the Telstra 3G mobile network.

In 1993, when Optus started their entrance into the Australian retail market, Ehab Abdou was one of their first dealers with one shop in Melbourne under the name of Digital One. The brand TeleChoice began at that time and grew to 55 locations in its first 5 years. This new partnership between TeleChoice and Optus saw enormous growth for both parties. On top of organic growth, Optus chose TeleChoice to acquire its retail subsidiary C2One, helping TeleChoice grow from 55 locations to 154 during the 11 years and moved from representing less than 5% of Optus’ throughput to more than 22%. Virgin Mobile, the Optus subsidiary, was also a huge beneficial from TeleChoice’ success story. As at December 2012, 37% of the Virgin Mobile business was written by TeleChoice. Optus and TeleChoice contract has ended in March 2013.

In 2013, TeleChoice entered into a contract with Telstra Wholesale which enables them to use parts of Telstra’s 3G mobile network to become Australia’s largest mobile virtual network operator (MNVO) retailer.
