Highway system

Shepperton Road is a northwest-southeast arterial road in the inner suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.

The road spans the Town of Victoria Park in its entirety. Along with Albany Highway, it is allocated State Route 30 for its entire length.

History[edit]

The road was once a suburban distributor road for the suburbs of Victoria Park, Carlisle and Lathlain

Description[edit]

Shepperton Road begins at the Causeway interchange as a six-lane divided carriageway, but narrows into a four-lane single carriageway at Duncan Street and continues as this for the rest of its length.

The road acts as a major traffic conduit and bypass of the Victoria Park town centre. It runs parallel to Albany Highway in the west, before joining onto Albany Highway at its terminus, where State Roure 30 continues.
