Mario Salcido ...(born 1974) is an American film writer, producer, director, special makeup effects artist, and actor.
Mario Alberto Salcido was born on July 12, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona. From an early age he displayed a skill for building and creating models, prop weapons, and even spare parts for action figures. He even went so far to create a custom business for mail order parts for action figures.
Film Career[edit]
He graduated from Desert View High School and attended the Southwestern Academy of Visual Arts. He immediately got jobs producing commercials and industrial films for local businesses. He learned the craft of makeup effects and that led to him getting into film production starting with "Planet Naomi: Monster Mayhem". He produced the film "The Puppet Monster Movie Massacre" and started getting into acting with the film "Finding BC the Biker Chick" After attending an audition for the film "Suburban Rebels" he offered his production services and assistance to Phillip Urlevich and they formed a partnership to make the film.
