Dear Matt,

Italic text contains notes for your action.

As Amanda has little access to WiFi from the boat, she has asked that you work on her article based upon what I have drafted.

Wiki also does not allow multiple users to edit the same article, which would only be possible IF they all have the originator's login details, so if I provide them to you, it is likely that Wiki will know through the ip addresses and then delete the article. The alternative is that I provide you with the pdf version including these notes so you can draft the changes needed and I can do the edits. You should be able to work in MSWord by copy/pasting text from the pdf. I should be able to work with that, especially if you drip feed me as then I would be able to fit edits into my schedule.

Where you see ?? text or 20xx or text ?? or text or pls verify, I need you to fill in the detail.

You will also note that Armin van Buuren, Andrew Rayel, Lindsey Stirling and Kylie Minogue have logos and pictures at various points on their pages.

Amanda's logo and some pics of her times at Avalon as well as at least one from the cover art of Exist can be placed as text grows and once you know which copyright code to use. Wiki has a lengthy document article on copyright for pics. I lifted some from her fb page and upload them. Unfortunately, as I did not have time to bone up on the nuances of ALL the copyright 'flavours', all the images have been deleted by Wiki monitors of this article. Nevertheless, I saved a pdf copy of this article (v0-3) that shows where I placed the pics, so we have a reference for when they can be added.

Amanda has not reviewed all the text here, but as to her DOB, she told me she is happy to follow other artists insofar as the panel on the top right hand side, but that the opening line does not include the date, only the month and year.

Amanda has been the resident DJ at both Avalon Hollywood (from 2017 to present) and Exchange LA (20xx ??), in downtown Los Angeles and opened at Avalon for EDM legend Darude and Andy Moor on 8 February 2020. She has shared the stage and opened for some of the top names in the industry, including Hardwell, W & W, Judge Jules, Tydi, Lady Faith and Victor Dinaire. Her latest single “Captured” rose to #2 in the Beatport Trance 100 charts.

Please see if you can find links to Amanda's events (and copy them here) that show her in the most professional light...

e.g. Utah, Nevada and Pennsylvania, Burning Man Festival (2013), EDC, etc. However, it could be we'll have to wait until October when she gets back home.

I'll then place them in the Tours & Concerts section below, although I seem to have been able to find more since we talked on Zoom.

NOTE, where you see this, I have already attached a link. You can follow the link in this editing space with [Ctrl-Click] or [Cmd-Click] and a new window or tab will open.

NOTE, also that many of the deleted event pictures were linked back to her fb page, so I might be able to keep a list them so that they can be uploaded after we tidy up her article.

The eldest of three children, Amanda grew up in her hometown of Lompoc, California, attending school at Cabrillo Senior High, graduating 2004 then went on to attend California State University, Fullerton and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish. She then went to Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where she studied Spanish and Spanish language, graduating in 2008.

Her younger brother, Nick, is a video graphic artist who produces graphic visualizers, some of which have been set to her mixes and integrated into her many YouTube videos. These amazing visualizers are unique in that they synch to the music, they do not repeat to a formula as many others do.

Being very athletic at school, Amanda competed in swimming and running events and won more than a handful of medals, some of which she has given away to members of her AXION Family who pledged to eat less meat or give it up altogether.

Of her DJ sets, she said, "The way each mix evolves, the music opens a conscious portal for one to ascend to their higher self."

When COVID-19 hit the US, Amanda lost her job teaching English and Spanish to young children who were developmentally delayed. From 2013 to March 2019, Amanda had pursued her love of music through her AXION Podcasts (41 monthly episodes) on SoundCloud,

but was time limited by her full time job, so she was only able to devote about 8 hours per week to it.

Her love of music and singing... school choir and singing madrigals and learnt to play piano. Amanda also plays the Keytar during her live DJ sets and rave events.

Amanda has a degree in Spanish and lived for 12 months in Chile, South America, where she taught ???

During her time in Chile, Amanda recorded a very special Christmas present for her mother, O Holy Night, which can be found on her SoundCloud channel.

Growing up in the 80's, she was exposed to the music of that era and influenced by major recording artists such as David Bowie, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, ???? more !!!. One of her favourites is the music from the "Final Fantasy" series, in particular, Aerith's Theme.

Darling's first original dance track, "Artemis [original mix]" was released on 19 June 2014.

Describe the LA event with the DeLorean...

In 2020, Darling was ranked #156 on the Trance Podium Top 100 DJs list and #23 female DJ <pls verify... unfortunately Wiki has blocked Trance Podium links, so if the TP link is you posted to her fb page (which I cannot do), she should instead be able to call that up here and elsewhere in this article>

Life, Musical Career & Artistry[edit]

Amanda erupted into the mainstream at Nuclear Winter, LA, in Jan 2015 and planned to debut 10 original productions that year. Her compositions "Artemis" and "Symetra" capture the "ElecTrance" sound that she is known for. Both of these original compositions feature an uplifting blend between Electro and Trance. Amanda's original productions, mashups and live vocals are the central focus of her live shows, which were expanding in 2015 to include new states in the USA and abroad. "Burgeoning with talent and skills to be shared, this woman is ready to enchant you at her next performance."

She has played major venues in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, including NYE Revolution 2017 at California Institute of Abnormalarts (CIA), Nth Hollywood, Utah, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

Major festival played in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, including Burning Man Festival (2013), Ultra Korea with The Sonic Universe (2016), EDC (2018), Elevate 20 at Fat Cat, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales (2019) and was recently appointed / nominated / asked / approached ??? to be Ambassador for the Funn Machine.

Hugh is not sure Amanda wants to mention Funn Machine.

Her music is available through Apple Music and Beatport.

2000-2009[edit]

Amanda's music career started in 2000 ?? at age 13 or 14 ?? when she cut CD's mixes of her favourite artists to play for her friends. She learnt to play piano and sang madrigals in the school choir and performed in school musicals. I wonder if admitting to cutting CD's mixes of her favourite artists would be tantamount to admitting to copyright violations back then ? Maybe this should not be included.

2010-2014[edit]

The Answer (Original Mix) was originally recorded in 2010 by Amanda Darling (aged 23) and Genuine Childs with vocals and lyrics by Amanda Darling. This gem is the first original song Amanda Darling ever wrote & recorded. It was not previously released until 2018.

2012-2015[edit]

Amanda traveled to England... where she played Elevate 20 in the UK at Fat Cat, Bangor in Gwynedd, Nth Wales (2019).

I'm not sure that Amanda would say she "embarked on her first concert tour". Maybe you might know if or not.

HERE or later in time ? She then embarked on her first ??? concert tour, the name of ??? Tour, in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia in month yyyy.

2016-2017: Earth Tones and Exist[edit]

Amanda's debut album, Earth Tones was released in month 2016 and showcases 9 new compositions by Amanda, 4 that include her original vocals and is ideal for meditation. Genres include, New Age / Spiritual / Meditation / Neo-Classical / Ambient / Yoga / Chakra / Healing. The original visualizers were created by her brother, Nick Darling.

Amanda's second album, Exist was released in November 2017, available on Beatport, as is the single track, Exist, also available on Beatport.

2019-2020: Captured, Mystery, Radical Inception and Spiritus Sancti[edit]

Throughout her working life, Amanda spent almost every waking moment writing songs, writing her trilogy of science fiction time travel novels and preparing for her weekend shows at Avalon Hollywood.

In March 2019, Amanda turned her attention to her career in the music industry and gave her full attention to it as well as to finding a way to help people get through the hard times of the COVID-19 lock down. This desire gave birth to the idea to stream live on YouTube took hold and she began the "Time Travel Chronicles" (TTC) live stream, spinning Trance, Progressive House and Synthwave music three time a week for a growing audience who became dedicated viewers. She streamed at 8pm for her US and South American audience and at 12pm for her UK and European audiences, taking them on journeys through Earth's timeline with readings, role plays and offering affirmations for personal meditation. Later she introduced a special "Spiritual Sunday" set she named "The Sunrise Club" that streamed at 5:30am and a set she called "Freestyle Friday" when she streamed live taking requests from the enormous library she accumulated over more than 10 years of professional DJ'ing.

Hugh has calculated the total number of AXION eps as per next para.

After 41 episodes of TTC, during July 2020, Amanda merged the Chronicles and AXION brands and as of 9 June 2021 celebrated the 100th episode of AXION (including the 41 earlier Podcasts).

This para as per docx

She streams live on YouTube and Twitchtv every week and has raised money for charity (The Gentle Barn, a senior under her care, George Floyd's family, and a family who needed to pay for an unexpected funeral). She has also been a guest DJ on Trance Family LA (TFLA). During the latter half of 2021, Amanda toured Europe and continued to work on her album, "Passages of Time", as well as her regular PodCasts on TheOffice805.com. Episode 101 of AXION (Amanda's first live gig, on Crete, since the Pandemic began in the US) was video recorded and the audio uploaded to SoundCloud.

During 2020, Amanda's single, Captured, was signed to Progressive Vibes Music and launched to #2 on the Beatport Trance 100. A short time later, her single with Aressa, "Mystery", was signed to Elliptical Sun Recordings.. “Mystery” also hit the charts rising up to #26 on the Beatport Trance 100. Amanda provided the vocals for both these recordings. Later in 2020, "Mystery" was remixed by Adrian Alexander (extended vocal mix), available on Beatport.

The Official Music Video of Amanda's chart topping original song "Captured" was filmed over a 10 year period by Amanda and Erin Johnson of MoonDragon Studios at various locations around the world including Jalama Beach, California, others ???? and Spain. Shortly after the release of "Captured", Progressive Vibes Music launched a competition to find the best remixes of Amanda's song. Amanda selected seven for the release on 19 November 2020 of the EP, "Captured - The Remixes" available on Beatport featuring remixes by DJT, ToA, Vyn Badie, Robert Cow, The Elem3nts, Liquidized Elements and Angelo-K.

Her single, "Captured", spent ?? weeks (Amanda will know the answer to this) at number one on the Beatport Hype chart and was ?? weeks (Amanda will know the answer to this) at number two on the Beatport Top 10 chart. "Captured" is about a journey ... ice age... (Amanda is better place to write the text for this) aliens and the music video shot by Amanda and Erin Johnson of Moondragon Studios features Jalama Beach, California and other locations including Spain and add in place names ? around the world.

2021-Present: Passages of Time[edit]

The COVID-19 pandemic hit hard and during her live streaming of TTC, she announced she intended to focus on completing a new album project, a collection of songs she had been working on during the previous few years. In line with her Time Traveling theme, this album was to be called "Passages of Time". Some songs had been completed and the others were about 60% finished. Her goal was to shoot music videos for all the songs.

Live streaming three times a week, composing and writing became Amanda's full time job. Her studio, a tree house, was set in an idyllic forest environment where she enjoyed the peace and tranquility needed to create and produce her art.

Having built up a bank of more than 20 new songs, when her full time day job evaporated, she was able to focus on completing these songs many of which were compiled into Amanda's third album, Passages of Time, to be released during 2021 and featuring Captured, Mystery and Spiritus Sancti as well as the theme from her AXION live stream shows, Radical Inception (AXION Mix). The official music video to accompany Spiritus Sancti turned into a 15 minute story and Spiritus Sancti was then extended into a 15 minute epic composition of Parts 1 & 2, each with a different beat and theme.

Amanda produced two previous full length albums (Earth Tones 2016 and Exist 2017), so she knew what was entailed, but with the COVID-19 restrictions on travel, she was no longer able to travel to the professional studios in LA nor with a reduced income was she able to afford the cost of engineering services, so she invested in a professional recording microphone (the Neumann TLM 102, a Sennheiser brand since 1991) and fitted her tree house with all that was necessary (i.e. sound proofing material) to make it a near professional recording studio. The results of the recordings she made in the Tree House since then demonstrate the success of this decision.

On the eve of 2021, in the Tree House studio, Amanda recorded a special gift for her AXION family of her weekly live streaming event, a cover of "Auld Lang Syne", video on YouTube and audio on SoundCloud. Following that, she produced a very special Valentine's Day recording of ambient music and her vocals, "" need title here
