Phil Kerswell is a UK-based factual Television Director. He has made programmes for the BBC and other mainstream broadcasters, ranging from Observational Documentaries (Skint, BBC1: 2004, 2005), to semi-formatted programmes (Nick Knowles' Original Features, The Home Channel: 2010) to high profile factual programmes (Gardeners' World, BBC2 2014, and Countryfile, BBC1 2014-2018).
Phil Kerswell trained as a newspaper journalist with the NCTJ and worked on regional dailies, BBC Radio and BBC Television News. He is currently a freelance journalist, writer and film maker.
