- South German natural gas pipeline (planned - cancelled). From Burghausen on the German-Austrian border to Lampertheim.

Supply to Europe[edit]
From Africa[edit]
All African routes run from Hassi_R'Mel the Algerian hub for natural gas, it supplies gas form the Hassi R'Mel gas field. (The planned Trans-Saharan gas pipeline will connect Nigeria to Hassi_R'Mel). Pipelines from Hassi_R'Mel:
- Greenstream pipeline, from Libya to Italy, part of the Western Libyan Gas Project.
- Maghreb-Europe Gas Pipeline, from Algeria; Tanger, Morocco; Tarifa, Spain.
- Medgaz, form Algeria to Almeria, Spain.
- Trans-Mediterranean Pipeline, from Algeria via Tunisia to Sicily and thence to mainland Italy.
Planned[edit]
From Azerbaijan and Middle East[edit]
Pipelines connect mainly from the Shah Deniz gas field in Azerbaijan. Connections to the Middle East are possible:
- Eastring, an alternative to the South Stream, via Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania, for transport from the Black Sea, Caspian Sea, and Middle East[2].
- South Caucasus Pipeline, through Turkey to Erzurum. Runs parallel to the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan oil pipeline.

- Southern Gas Corridor, (planned). To supply gas also from the Caspian and Middle Eastern regions. Consists of:
- Interconnector Turkey–Greece–Italy, (ITGI);
- Greece-Italy pipeline (Poseidon pipeline), part of the Interconnector Turkey–Greece–Italy;
- Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, from (Azerbaijan), via Greece, Albania to Italy and further to Western Europe.
- Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) (planned) through Turkey, Greece, Albania to Italy. to Europe. The exact route of the pipeline is not clear. However, it was announced that one branch from Turkey would go to Greece and the other to Bulgaria. It would be connected with Trans Adriatic Pipeline.
From the North Sea gasfields[edit]
- CATS pipeline, from Central North Sea Everest gasfield to Teesside, England.
- Europipe I, from North Sea to Dornum, Germany.
- Europipe II, from Stavanger, Norway to Dornum, Germany.
- FLAGS, between fields North Sea gas fiels.
- Franpipe, form the North Sea (mainly Sleipner gas field) to Dunkirk, France.
- Fulmar Gas Line (FUKA), from the Central North Sea to St Fergus Gas Terminal, Scotland.
- Frigg UK System, from the North Sea to St Fergus Gas Terminal, Scotland.
- Fulmar Gas Pipeline, from the North Sea to St Fergus Gas Terminal, Scotland.
- NOGAT Pipeline System, connects Dutch continental shelf with Den Helder, Netherlands.
- Norpipe, from Ekofisk gasfield in the North Sea to Emden, Germany.
- SAGE
- SEAL from the Elgin-Franklin gasfield, to Bacton Gas Terminal, England.
- Statpipe, links northern North Sea gas fields with the Norway's gas export system.
- Tyra West - F3 pipeline, pipeline connecting Danish and Dutch continental shelf pipeline systems to Den Helder.
- Vesterled, from the Heimdal gas field in the North Sea to St Fergus Gas Terminal, Scotland.

- Blue Stream, from Russia through the Black Sea to Turkey.
- Gazela Pipeline, through Czech Republic, for Russian gas to Germany.
- MEGAL, from the Czech–German and Austrian–German borders to the German–French border, for transporting Russian Gas to Germany.
- Nord Stream (North European Gas Pipeline), submarine pipeline from Vyborg in the Russian Federation to Greifswald, Germany.
- Bratstvo pipeline, Progress Pipeline, Soyuz Pipeline: run parallel to the Urengoy–Pomary–Uzhhorod pipeline (also known as the West-Siberian Pipeline, or Trans-Siberian Pipeline or Brotherhood Pipeline).
- Yamal-Europe pipeline, from Western Siberia Russia to Germany. Runs partly parallel to the Northern Lights.

- Nabucco Pipeline (also Turkey–Austria gas pipeline)(planned - canceled). From Erzurum, Turkey through Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary to Baumgarten an der March in Austria.
- South Stream, (planned - canceled). From Russia, through the Black Sea, Bulgaria, Serbia to Italy.
- White Stream, (planned). Connecting the South Caucasus Pipeline, crossing the Black Sea to Constanta, Romania with further supplies to Central Europe.

- Altai gas pipeline (planned) from Russia's Western Siberia to North-Western China.
- Arab Gas Pipeline, from Egypt to Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, with a branch to Israel.

- Bukhara-Tashkent-Bishkek-Almaty pipeline, from Bukhara in Uzbekistan, to Almaty in Kazakhstan. It is possible that the pipeline will be connected with the planned Central Asia-China gas pipeline.
- Central Asia-Center gas pipeline system from Turkmenistan via Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Russia.
- Central Asia-China gas pipeline from the Bagtyýarlyk gas field in Turkmenistan to China where it is connected to the West-East Gas Pipeline.
- Dabhol-Bangalore Natural Gas Pipeline, Indian pipeline to connected South India to the national gas grid.
- Dolphin Gas Project, connecting pipeline between Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
- East West Gas Pipeline (India)
- HVJ Gas Pipeline, (India).
- Iran-Armenia Natural Gas Pipeline, from Tabriz, Iran to Sardarian, Armenia.
- Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline (under construction).
- Tabriz–Ankara pipeline from Tabriz in Iran to Ankara in Turkey.
- Korpezhe-Kurt Kui Pipeline, from the Korpeje field in Turkmenistan to Kordkuy in Iran.
- Myanmar-Thailand Pipelines (3)
- Northern Lights, from the Urengoy gas field in Russia through Belarus, Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania. A part of the newer Yamal–Europe pipeline runs parallel to it.
- Peninsular Gas Pipeline, Malaysian pipeline connecting Kerteh refinery in Terengganu to other areas of peninsula Malaysia.
- Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline (Malaysia) (under construction)[3]
- Shaan-Jing pipeline, Chinese pipeline, from Jingbian County to Beijing and Tianjin.
- South Caucasus Pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline, BTE pipeline, or Shah Deniz Pipeline), from Shah Deniz gas field in Azerbaijan to Turkey. It runs parallel to the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline (oil).
- Trans Thailand Malaysian Gas Pipeline
- Urengoy–Pomary–Uzhhorod pipeline, (also known as the West-Siberian Pipeline, or Trans-Siberian Pipeline or Brotherhood Pipeline), from Urengoy gas field to Uzhhorod in Western Ukraine. Runs parallel the Progress pipeline, Soyuz pipeline, Bratstvo pipeline.
- West-East Gas Pipeline, Chinese pipeline from Xinjiang to Shanghai.
- Yadana Pipeline from the Yadana gas field to Myanmar.
- Zhongxian-Wuhan Pipeline
