Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple[edit]

History[edit]

This ancient temple of Lord Hanuman was built in 15th century during Vijaya Raghava Rayalu’s dynasty, and later as most of the temples in India, this was also faced the wrath of the Muslim invaders.

This temple was left in dark for so many centuries and the deity was not even offered daily ’Harathi’. The strong belief existing in Hindu hearts that God gets his wishes fulfilled through human beings; was proved once again and the asthikatwa of the people like Karanam Vivekananda Murthy could cross all the hurdles and renovated the Temple in the year 1984.

The temple was restored from dilapidated condition and the deity was being offered with the regular pooja’s from 10th February, 1984(according to Hindu calendar Magha Sudda Dasami).The temple was recognized by the people nearby and regular seva’s were being offered to the presiding deity.

For the last two decades the temple was under financial crunches, and the pooja’s were being performed only on Saturdays for all these days.

Again this time younger generation of the same village have taken the initiative and developed the temple in the year 2008. Our Sincere Thanks to the painstaking efforts by Mr.K.P.L.N.Murthy and like minded supporters such as Messrs G.Raghavender, Praveena, M.KalyanChander, Jyothirmayi , Hiranmayi, chandramohan , Sanjeev, Kalyani and all the people who have taken the active part to re modify the temple and made it attractive and lively to the devotees.

Significance of the temple: - External love of Sri Rama will be manifested in Hanuman. - The Temple being West Faced, the deity is bestowed With high spiritual powers. - The presiding deity, Lord Hanuman has shown his Powers and poured His blessings on many of His Devotees by fulfilling their wishes. - There are many instances that the wishes of the Devotees have been fulfilled just by remembering the Lord Hanuman of Kondapuram. - One devotee prayed Kondapuram Hanuman to clear his Son’s Dengue problem and soon after his son who was Admitted in the hospital was discharged. The devotee Went to Kondapuram and offered his prayers to this Lord HANUMAN. - So many childless couple prayed Lord Hanuman and Were blessed with pregnancy with the seva of Hanuma. - The unemployed secured jobs with His blessings. - In our experience many people from various other Places got their problems solved with the blessings of Lord Hanuman. - Most of the Muslims in the village also served him and got his blessings in distress.

Tips to please Lord Holy Hanuman[edit]

Hanuman likes the number “FIVE“, hence to seek the blessings of the lord we have to make five pradakshinas (rotating around the temple) to the lord. If we make “5 or 11 or 27 or 54 or 108 pradakshinas to the lord at least for a mandal that is 41 days we can achieve the blessings of the lord Hanuman.

Lord Hanuman was born on Saturday at Japali Teertham in Tirumala is known as his birth place. Hence we have to serve him on Saturday. He pleases to have banana fruits in 5 numbers. On Saturday if we light the lamp with Gingili oil before him-hard Saturn will get away from our life .Hanuman likes betel leaves seva. On Tuesday if we adorn with Sindura Lepanam (Rose red cream) he follows us in all distress conditions. Goddess Parvarthi blessed hanuman that her power dwells in his tail. Unmarried girls if they pray his tail they will get married.
