From Prof. Bastedo:[edit]

My name is Prof. Ralph W. Bastedo.___ Over the years I have initiated and revised HUNDREDS -- if not thousands -- of articles in Wikipedia-English.___ However, you will NOT see much evidence of this because my user name was blank or "Bastedo,Ph.D." or "Dr.Bastedo."___ But as I have gotten older, I have begun to forget the many, many dozens of unique passwords my work has required.___ And Wikipedia's passwords are no exception.

You see, I have been working with COMPUTERS since 1969 when I computed statistical analyses at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.___ {Maybe you have heard of Hollerith cards, Fortran, keypunchers and tabulating machines.}___ Anyway, every single job has required passwords; and my head has had to contemporaneously contain ALL of them.

So please excuse me if I no longer can remember my prior Wikipedia passwords.___ Someday, if you are fortunate enough, you too shall be my age.

SOME of the articles I have started, begun or INITIATED:

Paleobiology,__ Bura culture (in the Sahel of West Africa),__ Oreodont (a prehistoric mammal),__ Brian G. Gilmartin (psychologist),__ History of invertebrate paleozoology,__ Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology (many-volumed reference),__

SOME of the articles I have strengthened, enlarged or REVISED:

Archaea (the domain of life),__ Archean (the geologic era),__ Bura archeological site (in Niger),__ Love shyness,__
