A little more: I am a writer and have been since my childhood when I was failed by my 6th grade english teacher and told that my opinions are ridiculous, I have no way with words, and "have less creativity than a jellyfish in a cardboard box". So since then I have expressed myself through words and through literature. I have considered myself a writer since that point.

Since that time, I have played Dungeons and Dragons and created a character that will be the centerpiece to my fantasy novel which is in the process of being written. I have included a little bit of background on her, Raqu'heln Razorkeen Wavebreaker (my namesake as you can see).

Raqu'heln Razorkeen Wavebreaker

Raqu'heln (Pronounced: Rock - ew - heln) is an Aquatic Elf from the Coast of Morue. While originally born in the underwater city of Laquesh, was exiled to the land with her parents Rhenchia and Jalobicz Razorkeen.

At the age of 156 Raqu'heln decided to leave her homeland and go adventuring. From there she met up with many different people, soon including the Grey Archer. Soon, after reaching a level of potential, Raqu'heln went into service to the Grey Archer and became the Cerulean Archer. From here, she begat a son with the Bluegrey Archer, and married the Turquoise Archer.

In the time that she travelled, she mainly adventured on her own. But she also did travel in parties. A few of her party members were:

Reasons for Adventuring

When Raqu was 156, directly before adventuring on her own, she made the discovery which explained why her parents and herself never went to Laquesh, the homeland.

Rhenchia Razorkeen

Rhenchia Alleclear as an aquatic elven travelling mage young in her life, struck out on her own as an adventuring mage. Along her travels, she met her future husband, Jalobicz Razorkeen an aquatic elven fighter. They travelled together and had many adventures, one which would change their lives forever.

A demon came upon them and demanded tribute for their trespassing on his lands, which were open fields and coasts on their way to Laquesh to be married. In a fierce struggle, as Rhenchia was soon reduced to her staff and small knives - exhausted out of spells - a spell was cast upon her which would turn her into a demon and turn upon her lover, tearing him to pieces. In a moment of bravery, Jalobicz was able to kill the demon and halt the spell, but something did not change. Rhenchia's body had already been changed and had developed large fully functional batlike wings.

Arriving in Laquesh days later, Jalobicz and Rhenchia were married and given a home and name of much prestigue. The elders of the city, recognizing the value of a winged aquatic elvenleader begged the couple to give them a new prince. The last prince had been killed in a sahagin raid.

Rhenchia and Jalobicz were entralled with the idea of prestigue and a quiet life after their adventuring lifestyle. They soon consummated their marriage, and shortly later, Rhenchia was pregnant. With much excitement surrounding the city, Rhenchia gave birth...to a daughter...Raqu'heln.

Furious, the elders of the patriarcal city banished Rhenchia and Raqu'heln from the underwater city for insulting them by giving a female baby in place of the expected prince. (Luckily Raqu'heln had no been born with wings, or the elders would have instantly slain both mother and child for the supreme insult.) Jalobicz was given the chance to divorce Rhenchia and leave the mother and child and stay in the city, as it could never have been his fault. Jalobicz, with pity and love for his wife and child, turned down the offer and went into self exile with his family. Since then, the Razorkeens were not allowed back to Laquesh.

Knowing this story, Raqu'heln made a decision within herself and decided to go out and find a male winged elf, to marry him and give Laquesh an heir, a male winged heir. (This is originally how she joined up in the party with Perrin Goldeneyes and the rest.)
