***Added three scholarly peer reviewed sources in addition to the non peer review sources below (10/13)

  • The TV game: how will Apple, Netflix, Hulu and Time Warner play? (2011). Strategic Direction, 27(8), 5-7. [1]

- This is a peer reviewed scholarly journal so I believe that it is a good source to use. This text also has a few references about the topics being discussed which is incredibly helpful.

  • Kweon, H. J. (n.d.). Pricing strategy within the U.S. Streaming Services Market: A focus on Netflix’s price plans. International Journal of Contents.[2]

- This is another peer reviewed article that I feel is a reliable source. This online article discusses the main topic of streming services and talks about the popular services that are found on the current Wikipedia page. It has information about the additional sections that I have began to add in my sandbox.

  • Broe, D. (2020). Post Corona Film and Television: Stream It, Skip It, or Revolutionize It? Framework, 61(2), 202-216.[3]

- This is another peer reviewed article that is a reliable source. This article discusses the various streaming services and some background about the success and information on them.

  • Anderson, Hayley. “Paramount Plus: What Shows Can You Watch on Paramount Plus?” Express (Online), 4 Mar. 2021. ProQuest One Academic, Accessed 9 Oct. 2023. [4]

- This is a newspaper article that was published online so it should be a reliable source. This text also covers a lot of background information on the specific streaming service so this will be helpful when adding details to the Wikipedia article.

  • "Apple, Disney Enter Streaming Market." Morning Edition, 1 Nov. 2019, p. NA. Gale In Context: Opposing Viewpoints,[5]

- This is a transcript from a broadcast that was aired on National Public Radio. This covers the topic for Apple introducing their streaming platform so it should be a reliable source.

  • Hetrick, Christian. “Comcast’s Peacock Streaming Service, Launching This Spring, Hopes to Lure Cord Cutters with Old-School Concept.” TCA Regional News, 16 Jan. 2020. ProQuest One Academic, Accessed 9 Oct. 2023.[6]

- This is a news article that was published online so it should be a reliable source. This article covers the topic in depth and includes a lot of background information on the specific streaming site being spoken about.
