Based in NYC, Apollo Financial Group is a company which buys and sells distressed financial products. 1 Created by Ricky Brava and Dean Anastos, the company buys and sells mortgages which large banks and lenders would otherwise foreclose on. 2 Such financial products are typically purchased for less than face value. 3

At the end of June, 2012, Apollo had $11.9 million in liquid assets and $105 billion assets under management. 4
