Introduction[edit]
Hello everyone, my name is Ricky, Ricky Tse. I was born in Hong Kong on the 7th of May, 1983. I’m 26 right now. I grew up with my mom and dad, and I did not have a brother or a sister. So that, I was a lonely person before my 16 comes. In my school times, I was hard to make friends with others. I left my school when I was 15, and did not finish a Form 3 grade. After quitting my formal education, I’d apply for the YPTP, which held by the local Labour Department, and finished 3 out of 4 modules. Perhaps of the freely environment of learning, I started to make friends with my classmates. I found that it is easier to make friends while I was in a freely environment.
Personnal Life[edit]
After finishing the YPTP, I started my first job. It was a sale assistant job in my uncle’s video shop. But not that far, I’d quit the job with my bad temper. Maybe the effect of my emotional personality, I found that was quite difficult to start another job. So, I apply for a second year of the YPTP. After that, I’d attend a computer course held by the Caritas, and started a coop with my classmates. I found that was hard to run a coop, and it wasn’t a good way of income. So, I’d apply for the YWETS, which also held by the local Labour Department, and sonly they found a security job for me. But it’s not a secure job, because of the struggle between my security company and the managing company, the pressures were thrown on the low ranks. And that was why I quit my job again. My parents started to concern on me, and they contacted my auntie to found another job for me. She introduced me to a friend of her, whom is a district supervisor of the well-known security company, Securicor (which is now changed its name to G4S). I started a night-shift security job in a government quarters. After a week of night-shift job, the supervisor contacted me, and mobilized me to a day-shift bank security position, which led to my third time job quit. Because of the shift changed, I didn’t feel well to get up so early in the morning, and being late for my job. It is a fatal and unacceptable fault, that a security guard always late for his job. So, the supervisor finally contacted me to resign my job. I felt struggle in myself, and felt difficult to face my parents. I left my parents, and started to live with my girl friend, Yi. I attend a multi-media course in a community centre, but my financial status didn’t let me to continue my studies. So, I quit, and found a part-time job. It’s a shop assistant in a convenience store. But still, just like my old-times, the new manager aim at me. Just before the Christmas, the manager changed my working schedule to an over-night shift. I started argued with him, and finally quit my job. And this started my Dark Ages. I didn’t have a confidence to apply for any job, and started to hide up myself. A man who was jobless and lack of confidence, made Yi to apart from me. But she still took pity on me, and let me live with her. Although she let me live with her, but she only treated me as a brother, and did not love me anymore.
In the year of 2007, Yi met up with a young boy, Yung. They started their relationship, and I knew that I could live with her no longer. At the beginning of 2008, Yi’s work place was short-handed, and then I started to work with her. I met my new girl friend, Mei, who was working neighbour to my shop. So, I left Yi’s home, and live with my parents again. Mei really cares for my feelings, so I should not let her disappoint on me. I changed to a security job in a private estate, and my superior praised on my performance. After a six month of guarding job, my superior said I had a chance to promote to assistant supervisor. I was really delighted to hear that I could get my first promotion in job at that time. But, good time never last. I was told that, the Incorporated Owners want to invite bids for a new management and security company. And finally, this led to the end of my contract. I’ve lost my job again, feels like I was a pinball which was down to the drain, and needing for someone to start a new game. Recently, I'd attend the Yijin Project. I hope this can brings me a brighter future, and helps me walk out from my cloudy fate.
I was a boogie and lonely person before, and now I want to be a happy person. Although my life is full of challenges, I still have a dream. A dream of my future, I’m being a scientist, fighting against those evil viruses, changing the history of human nature, and creating a world of peace and no harm of disease.
