The American-Republican Capitol Hill Coup D'Etat, or otherwise known as the Capitol Hill Riots, was a coup that took place on January 6th, 2021.

The riots went on from 14:00 to 17:45 (ET). 2 pipe bombs were found near the hill, and 3 men tried replacing the American Flag with the Trump 2020 Flag. 15 Minutes into the protestors, one of the breachers, Amanda Faulkner, was shot and killed. Faulkner was not presumed dead until she reached a local hospital. Congress was evacuated immediately after.

The mayor of DC at the time, Muriel Bowser, issued a curfew that almost the whole riots abided by, ending the coup at exactly 17:45 ET, 15 minutes before the curfew actually took place. The 2 pipe bombs were found and defused by S.W.A.T. teams. 13 who did not comply were arrested, while they're many others remaining, but they were now peaceful.

When the chaos faded away, 1 died, 4 were injured, and 13 were arrested. Congress did not return to Capitol hill until about 3 hours later. The Vice President of the time, Mike Pence, stated that this coup was justifiable, while many others disagreed.
