Aliva Patnaik is a professor of Ecology and Molecular Biology at School of life sciences, Sambalpur University. At her post graduation she was in 1st rank in M.Sc Life Science.
Early Life and Education[edit]
She completed her graduation and post doc from sambalpur university. She did her graduation in 1991, and completed her postdoctoral in 2000 form sambalpur university. During her B.Sc in Zoology she stood 4th rank from this University, also in her M.Sc she stood 1st by securing highest mark in Life Science of 1993 batch. She joined Trident Academy of Creative Technology, Bhubaneswar as a senior lecturer in 2004. In the same year she joined School of life sciences as a Lecturer.
Research work and career[edit]
- Rational design and development of synthetic derivatives from natural lead (e.g. Noscapine, β-sitosterol, etc.) as potent tubulin-binding, less toxic, anti-cancer therapeutic agents.[1]
