Witches Bru (band)

Witches Bru was a "garage" rock and roll band that began in 1966 and hailed from Piscataway, New Jersey. The band consisted of Roger Gary (lead vocals), Laszlo Reti (lead guitar), Tommy Reti (bass guitar), Ed Figiel (keyboard) and Bob Giglio (drums). The band played an eclectic mix of rock & roll cover tunes and performed at local high schools, colleges and various other venues within the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. Witches Bru performed their last gig on December 31, 1968 at The Cave in the Birch Hill Country Club, Oldbridge, New Jersey.

Four of the original members of Witches Bru reunited to "make some noise" on April 2, 2005. This event was the start of the official reincarnation of Witches Bru. Chirs DeMarco of Quakertown, Pennsylvania became the replacement bass player. After a year of practicing two of the members decided to leave the band for personal reasons. After a long search replacements were found. Jeff Marlon became the drummer and Mitch Bloch became the lead guitarist. Both are from Bridgewater, New Jersey.

The band has a web site [1]where some of their music can be heard.
