I'm still a newbie when it comes to Wikipedia, and still have much to learn regarding the style of this encyclopedia, and the notational convensions employed. Please bear with me on this.

I've noticed a lot of misinformation on Wikipedia concerning earlier computer systems, particularly mainframes. For some reason, it also seems fashionable today to make condescending and caustic remarks regarding mainframe systems and technology. As I find time, I hope to set the record straight on these topics, and try to restore NPOV.
