The Aalto house in Munkkiniemi Helsinki is a family home and an office designed by the architect Alvar Aalto for his own use, completed in August 1936.
History[edit]
In 1934, Alvar Aalto and his wife Aino Aalto acquired a site in almost completely untouched surroundings at Riihitie in Helsinki's Munkkiniemi where they designed and built their own house.[1]
