Notes:
  1. ^ 1860 Munich, who lost in the relegation play-offs, were unable to obtain a license for the 3. Liga, as they could not fulfil the financial requirements. Therefore, 1860 Munich were relegated to the Regionalliga Bayern, having been approved for the league on 16 June 2017.
