The 2038 Arizona gubernatorial election occurred on November 2, 2038, to elect the next governor of Arizona concurrently with other federal and state elections. Incumbent Republican governor Vincent La was term-limited and ineligible to run for a third consecutive term. Republican Arizona Secretary of State The Bear Pundit won the election against Democratic perennial candidate AZ's Blue Politico.[2]

Primaries were held on August 2 for both parties, with Secretary of State Bear Pundit who was elected in 2030 easily winning the Republican nomination and Blue Politico winning the Democratic nomination, making this the first gubernatorial election in Arizona history in which both major party candidates for governor were members of the Election Twitter.

Going into the election, most polling had Blue Politico leading and analysts generally considered the race to either be a tossup or leaning towards the Democratic. Nonetheless, Bear Pundit ultimately defeated Blue Politico with 52.94% of the vote, becoming the first Republican elected governor of Arizona since Vincent La in 2030. Blue Politico refused to concede and filed a post-election lawsuit in an attempt to overturn the results. All of his lawsuit has been rejected by all three levels of Arizona's state courts, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.[3][4][5]

This race was one of six Republican-held governorships up for election in 2038 taking place in a state that was carried by Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the 2036 presidential election. With a margin of 5.88%, it was the third closest election of the 2038 gubernatorial election cycle.
