Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International (MTA)

The MTA was not only a new television channel for the Muslim community; It became the main source of media for the Ahmadiyya Muslim community all across the world. Many of the disciples believe that using new technology is very beneficial for out-reach purposes and spreading awareness and knowledge about Islam to different societies. Thus, as we look at all these machines, gadgets, inventions and technologies now days, it seems to good to be true. They are not created just for communication or education, but also stimulate to the human mind. Muslims from all across the world can participate in countless broadcasts ranging from lectures, Dars, Question and Answer Sessions, The Holy Qur’an to Homeopathy, translations in Arabic and French. MTA offers quality it broadcasts internationally in up to eight languages simultaneously and feature programs focusing on the different cultures of the world and environment in which they exist. The MTA has also kept pace with technology and broadcasts in both analogue and digital[1] .

The Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International (MTA) is the first non-commercial Islamic Television station to be aired worldwide 24 hours a day. This is one of the channels which doesn't air commercials MTA is not dependent on sponsorships or license fees, this allows the network to concentrate on producing variety of programs on a range of subjects for its viewers around the world. The programs are however not only religious, but also cultural contents. These include subject matters such as International news, Sports, Science, Medicine, Learning languages, Children's shows, Documentaries and Religion. The transmission contribution is provided by members in a non-profit organization known as (Waqar-e-Amal). MTA involves itself in all aspects of television from production to transmission. It uses state of the art equipment in editing, filming and enhancing the viewer’s experience. MTA has took the initiative, which is helping the Humanity and reaching the corners of the Earth showing the true face of Islam.

The voice of Ahmadiyyat is reaching to the ends of the Earth because of the advancement in technology, which allows us to use these resources to learn and expand our knowledge. Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) is watched by millions of people in five continents. Every Friday Hadhrat Khlifat-al-Masih delivers an inspiring sermon that is watched all over the globe. MTA is a 24/7/365 running free Islamic Television Network broadcasting true teachings of Islam, which is translated simultaneously into six languages globally.

The Administrative structure of MTA consists of fourteen departments that manned by 150 dedicated volunteers. The Weekly MTA telecasting schedule can be viewed on the Internet site www.mta.tv MTA can be watched on Roku TV Box, Jadoo TV Box, Smartphone, Internet, Satellite TV and any Cable TV all over the world, 5 continents. It recognizes that television plays a significant role in the world and has accordingly devoted itself to applying this influence positively for the purpose of educating viewers.
