Interests[edit]

I like traveling and learning about new cultures, language and tasting different food.My interests also include playing basketball, tutoring kids, and writing. I was a Math tutor for two years and I taught children between grades of 4-8. I had a great time teaching Hargeisa tutoring and I think I had a great experience of how to deal with kids and keep them engage in class.I was able to engage them most of the time because I used the techniques some of our funniest teachers use to keep us awake and active. What also helped me to be a good tutor is that i was able to relate and understand most of the students concerns since I am a student.

The Great Chinese Famine(Three Years of Natural Disaster)[edit]

The great Chinese famine was lead by social pressure, economic mismanagement, and radical changes in agriculture.Mao Zedong, chairman of the communist party of china, introduced radical changes in farming which prohibited farm ownership and failure to do so lead to persecution. The social pressure imposed on the citizens in terms of farming and business, which the government controlled, lead to state instability.Due to the influx of laws in the country and Great Leap Forward during 1958-1962,the government statistics show that about 36 million people died in this period.[4]
