New Style role-playing games[edit]
There's a good amount of information on Wikipedia about role-playing games. If there were a series of articles about Hogshead Publishing's New Style line of games, Wikipedia's coverage of role-playing games would be complete in one important aspect. The New Style games are discussed so much on the Web that they have already achieved legendary status. I was surprised when I came to Wikipedia looking for information on one of them and found I would have to write the article myself!
The games are:
- De Profundis
- The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Munchausen
- Pantheon
- Puppetland & Powerkill
- Violence
While it would be great to see these articles completed, it would be great to see separate articles about Hogshead and the New Style line as well, to add context. It would be unbeatable to see the housekeeping done as well:
- disambiguation pages
- redirects
- consistent structure and style
If all that could be completed, that would be some achievement. Not only would a topic be covered that is of great interest on the Web, it would be covered in style.
The Violence article is already a collaboration. I would welcome the participation of anyone who wants to work on or discuss anything I've mentioned.
