Summary[edit]
The Sandbox project was created on Tuesday, March 29, 2012, with the purpose of assisting editors who are in the process of developing more than one page. The basic idea is that editors who do not use their sandbox (i.e. users who are not focused on the development but rather the editing of pages) to voluntarily give up their sandbox for the use of others.
Obviously, You could just make another sub-page, but doing it this way encourages collaboration between more than one editor - which can lead to a less biased entry.
This project also has several sandboxes open for use, for the purpose of collaboration between many editors - check them out.
To make a request, go to the talk of one of the users on the pledge page and ask them.
Rules of Conduct[edit]
- There will be absolutely no vandalism! Vandalising someone else's sandbox means that they can revoke all your rights related to the project.
- Ask, then if, and only if they say yes, then you can use their sandbox.
- If they ask you to stop, stop. No exceptions.
- They still own their sandbox. If they make an edit to your page, don't whine. Don't call them all sorts of mean nasty things just because your poor little phsycy got hurt. If you don't like it, leave.
- Be considerate. There may be other people that want to use that sandbox, so don't just use it to mess around. That is what your sandbox is for.
- Above all else, using someone else's sandbox is a privilege. Not a right. Treat it so.
