In the last couple of years, I have occasionally done some editing - correcting factual errors or improving style-related issues. Only anonymously though. Lately, I have made an effort to obtain a thorough understanding of Wikipedia's requirements wrt. content and style, including acquainting myself with wikitext/wiki markup/wiki code.

So, now I feel ready to contribute pages (in fact I already did on the Danish Wikipedia - see Kim Guldstrand Larsen.

For editing I have chosen to use a local editor - Microsoft Visual Studio Code med wikitext extension. Apart from featuring syntax high-ligtning that IMHO outperforms Wikipedias built-in option, it also has code completion. But more importantly - this way I avoid data loss due expired user session (tried that once - aaaaargh!!!).

In other words: I will do my drafts off-line, and only add content when I feel confident that it has an acceptable standard. Preferably minimum content class C

My interest is primarily in Danish academics and scientists. I would like to improve the coverage, and so I have joined the Science and Academia Work Group under the Biography WikiProject
