This page previously contained a list created from the Australian Capital Territory postcode list and removing the piped link, leaving an unqualified placename. It was used in discovering badly-named Australian town articles without a category. The project was completed for ACT localities as they existed at the time the list was created.

According to the Wikipedia naming policy, every Australian town article should be named with a comma and the state or territory (in full) after the town name, and a redirect or disambuguator pointing to it from the short form.
