Scott L. Mingus, Sr. is a miniature wargamer[1], Civil War blogger[2], and published non-fiction author[3] currently living near York, Pennsylvania.

Particular Wikipedia interests are topics related to Ohio in the American Civil War and Pennsylvania in the American Civil War. I am a native of Zanesville, Ohio, and am a direct descendant of numerous soldiers in the Union Army, including two of my great-great-grandfathers. Several of my ancestors fought on Cemetery Hill in the 7th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg.
